The state government has issued a notification (Application for model schools) for this. The applications are being accepted for admissions for this academic year 2020-21. There are a total of 164 model schools in AP. There are no entrance exams for the seat.
The AP government has issued a notification for admissions in Class 6th. All the Students are selected only by lottery system. Those who want to apply for admission in these schools can do so by logging on to the website https://apms.apcfss.in/. Another important point is that there is no need to pay any fees for admissions in model schools. Only Pay Application Fee.
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualified in 5th class for the academic year 2019-20

Age Limit: OC and BC students must have been born between September 1, 2008 and August 31, 2010. The SC and ST students must have been born between September 1, 2006 and August 31, 2010.
Application Fee: The application fee for OC and BC candidates is Rs.100/- while for SC and ST candidates it is Rs.50/-.
